Boston, MA | 7/27/2009 – At-Large Boston City Council candidate Andrew Kenneally unveiled Monday that South Boston would be home to their campaign office. The office will be located at 258 W. Broadway in South Boston.
On Saturday, August 1st, Kenneally will host an open house from 10:00-12:00 p.m. for residents to visit the office and learn more about the campaign. There will be coffee, donuts, and information available to all residents interested in learning more about Andrew and how he plans to Get Boston Moving Again.
Kenneally is no stranger to South Boston having worked as an aide for two sons of South Boston: U.S. Congressman Joe Moakley in Washington, D.C. and later for At-Large Boston City Councillor Michael Flaherty in Boston City Hall. South Boston’s Rep. Brian Wallace, along with a number of other city and state officials, has also endorsed Kenneally.
“I’m excited to be opening an office in South Boston. For over 5 years, I have had the unique opportunity to work on the issues important to South Boston residents. From parking to trash removal, I worked hard to improve the quality of life in South Boston and I would be honored to continue that work.
